Memorial Contributions

The Pine Hollow Arboretum values the importance of honoring, remembering and celebrating people and accomplishments. We are pleased to offer this beautiful and

unique setting for tribute gifts. With guidance from our Horticulturalist and Collection Curator, we are able to offer a selection of trees and plants from our existing collection and benches that are available to be used for dedication purposes.

If you do not see a tree, bench or area of the arboretum listed that you would like to dedicate, please contact us pinehollowarb@gmail.com

Please see Label & Signage Info Below:

All Labels, signs and plaques will be engraved on black aluminum. 
Tree Labels will be on a stake or attached to fencing around the tree.

• * Tree Labels with dedication will be 4" x 6" (or similar) and include the common name, scientific name, accession number, date planted (unless native), and can include text up to 6 words. If additional space is needed, please let us know and we will accommodate.
• * Area Signage will be 8" x 10" (or similar) and will include the name of the area and text. No limit on text.
• * Bench Plaques will be  2"x4" (or similar) with text up to 10 words. If additional space is needed, please let us know and we will accommodate. 

Please note the following information:

• - For Trees labels and area signage that allow for additional text, the Pine Hollow Arboretum reserves the right to approve the wording. 
• - Donations for tribute or sponsored tree labels, signs or plaques will last for 5 years. After 5 years, you will be contacted if you'd like to renew. 
• - The arboretum reserves the right to relocate any bench or tree for collection or landscape improvements. We will make reasonable efforts to select an agreeable location with the donor. 
• - In the event the tree falls or a tree or bench is damaged, the Pine Hollow Arboretum will reach out to you about planting or putting something in it's place. However, it may not be the same species or bench-type that was once there. 
• - If you are interested in sponsoring something in perpetuity or are interested in a different area or tree at the arboretum that is not listed, please email Gabby at gabby@pinehollowarboretum.org

A Pine Hollow staff person will contact the donor to discuss what the additional text will say on the tree label or sign. Please give us 48 hours to contact you regarding text.
